Prize WRides

Your chapter officers have come up with some events that will be held in conjunction with some of the Weekly Wrides. We’re calling them Prize Wrides because somebody is going to win something by the end of the wride. We have four events planned. They will be, but not necessarily in this order:

• Blind run – Your odometer will be covered and you guess the total miles from J&L to the destination.
• Odometer poker run – Your odometer reading at the destination will be used as a poker hand.
• Bug run – A circular sticker, about the size of a quarter, will be put on you or your bike (you pick the spot) and who ever gets a bug splat closest to center wins.
• Observation run – Pretty straight forward. Just keep your eyes open during the wride. At the destination you’ll answers questions about landmarks and signs along the route that was taken.

Passengers will be able to participate in all Prize Wrides.

These wrides will take place during the scheduled weekly rides, so try to attend as many rides as you can! The prize for each of the Prize Wrides will be up to $20 cash toward your meal the night of the wride. If a Prize Wride ends in a tie, the Road Captain will draw straws to determine the winner.
